A HOME FOR ALL

RCC: ST. JOHN XXIII DIOCESE

The Reformed Catholic Church: A home for all

Discover a church where everyone is welcome, where faith is a journey of acceptance, and where community thrives through open hearts. We invite you to explore our mission and find your place within our inclusive family.

We commit ourselves to be God's welcoming heart of mercy, God’s inclusive arms of love, and God's hands of justice and healing to all people who seek God through Jesus Christ.

WHAT MAKES THE REFORMED CATHOLIC CHURCH DISTINCT?

Due to the unique nature of ministry outside of the mainstream Churches - those with established parishes and church buildings - being called to ministry in the Independent Sacramental Movement requires one to be creative and flexible.

If you feel called to ministry and are considering the Reformed Catholic Church, we are excited to journey with you as you begin to understand what the Spirit is doing in your life. The first question we ask is what is your ministry? We realize that this question might sound premature, as you are still discerning, but any call from God contains a spark of a ministry. Who do you want to serve? What injustice calls you to action? What about parish leadership is calling to you? Do you see yourself being called to a ministry of service of the less fortunate, or a ministry in the church? We recommend taking some time to pray about these questions, so we can begin answering them together.

An inclusive community for everyone

At The Reformed Catholic Church, our main message is one of unconditional acceptance and love. We believe in creating a spiritual home that is truly open to receive all persons, regardless of background, identity, or journey. Here, you will find a supportive community ready to embrace you.

The Reformed Catholic Church is an Independent Catholic Church, not under the authority of the Bishop of Rome. We are similar in our liturgy, sacraments and apostolic succession. Our heritage flows from the Old Catholic Church, which split with the Roman Catholic Church in 1870 over certain doctrines of the First Vatican Council. We profess a more progressive theology, ordain men and women, offer open communion, and are fully affirming and inclusive of the LGBTQ community in the life of the Church, including Holy Orders.

Open hearts, working together

What makes our work unique is our unwavering commitment to accept and work with everyone. We pride ourselves on fostering an environment where collaboration and mutual respect are paramount. Our church is a place where every individual's contribution is valued, enriching the spiritual lives of all.
